Oshiomhole said that he now regretted the comments which had become the subject of discourse in the social media.
The Governor, however, noted that he made the comments in anger.
Oshiomhole’s apology was made when the leadership of the Federation of Muslim Women’s Association of Nigeria (FOMWAN), paid him a courtesy visit in Benin.
He noted that though the challenge of modern times had bestowed on the shoulders of some women and single mothers the status of bread winners of their homes, such should not be used as an accuse to flout the laws.
The Governor urged the Muslim women leaders to use their offices to propagate the essence of healthy living among children and women in the nation and the need to maintain proper sanitary conditions in their neighbourhoods.
Oshiomhole lamented that the challenge of widowhood had also exposed children to different temptations, adding that there was the need for society to be careful, to avoid unwittingly creating more problems for the nation.
He noted that money was not the best thing that guaranteed ones happiness, “but honesty and selfless service.
The Governor added that if Muslims and Christians were adequately committed to their religious doctrines, the world would be a better place.
He urged the women to propagate the message of Islam through the nooks and crannies of the nation, and to also inculcate the values of honesty in their followers.
Oshiomhole, however, assured the association of government’s support in ensuring that its present leadership made remarkable progress and also consolidated on the successes of their predecessors.
Earlier, the FOMWAN National President, Hajia Amina Omoti, urged the state government to look into the issue of the teaching of Islamic Religious Studies in public schools in the state.
Omoti also solicited for government’s moral and financial support for the effective running of the association.

**LISTEN TO NO 1 GOVERNOR!**
Babatunde Fashola Blasts Stella Oduah

Lagos State governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola, has said that the two armoured cars bought at the cost of N255 million for the Minister of Aviation, Mrs. Stella Oduah, will purchase 51 patrol vehicles for the Nigerian Police.
The governor said this at the 7th annual Town Hall Meeting on Security, themed: ‘Sustaining Local Responding To Rising National Security Challenges,’ held at the Civic Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
“It is sad to know that the Federal Government that allocate three patrol vehicles for one state police command of 370, 000 police men, is unable to resolve how N255 million was used to purchase 2 saloon vehicles for one officer. It is a very grave irony.
“The cost of average vehicle needed to patrol the state is just N5 million. And with such fund, we will have put at least 51 patrol vehicles on the road, patrolling the streets of Lagos.”
“In spite of all this, they resist the idea of a state police. The money from the fund was in the last one year used to provide vehicles for the Nigerian Prison Service, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, National Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC and indeed the airport wing of the Nigerian police, is funded from this money. And it is the same aviation ministry that manage the airport that we had this very odious car scandal of N255 million.”
The governor noted that the upshot of central Government’s failure to confront security has continued for the past seven years.
“The residents of Lagos have borne the burden of that neglect, and there is no indication that anything will change soon, in spite of endless reform deliberation and proposals.”
On the crime rate in the state, Fashola said “Our crime data base now has record content of 92, 488 which helps us to keep track of all those who have been arrested, prosecuted, jailed or have any contact with the criminal justice system.”
He added that the state is preparing for a future of crime prevention, saying “it will be technologically driven, scientifically grounded and result assured.”

**Honestly we are dying under clueless and vision-less regime claiming transformation- Maybe to total chaos!!
**There is no genuine transformation without solidifying its pillars and foundation to its sustainability.
**No transformation adventure is workable for a long period of time without pre-plans for maintenance and the respect to the rules of its continuous function, which can only be achieved when the respect to the LAWS guiding its functions and continuity is considered first.
**Which is all workable when the transformation agenda begins with Maintenance of the rule of LAW and ORDER in every section of our everyday lives first.
**Nigeria has a lot of mis-informed populace, hence requires much to be invested on this area of Law and Order maintenance

Why I Became a Deadly Robber – Revelation by Godogodo

Why I Became a Deadly Robber – Revelation by GodogodoThe infamous robbery star from South-West, Abiodun Ogunjobi, a.k.a., Godogodo, has revealed that lack of parental care was one of the main reasons why he became a deadly robber.
Godogodo was responsible for terrorising the zone for over 14 years; he was in charge of most bank robberies and other deadly operations. On August 6, 2013, in an interview at the state Police Command headquarters, Ikeja, Lagos, he confessed that his parents abandoned him at an early age to fend for himself.
36-year-old notorious criminal spoke in emotional laden voice, said he was the eldest of the children and his mother who he said was a sickler, died from her sickness.
My Father Was a Wayward Man
“My father was a wayward man. He was a drug addict and a gambler. My mother was a sickler and she died after giving birth to my youngest brother.
“But my father, who got married to another woman, didn’t bother to take care of me. As a little child I struggled through primary school, picking bottles, iron and rubber from refuse dump.
“The little money I made from it was what I used in paying my school fees in primary school and after I graduated I went into the business of robbery fully.
“As a little boy I was sleeping on the street and my father didn’t care. All he cared about was to gamble away his money and take drugs.
“Gradually I started stealing and when I got of age I started robbing people at Katangura market, Iyana-Ipaja, but in 1999, I was arrested and sent to prison for fighting and when I came back some of the boys who were operating with me then had become big time robbers. I joined them and in one of our operations, I was shot in the eyes by some vigilante men that accosted us in Ogun State and I ended up losing one of my eyes.
“I would say after that incident I became tough and very careful. I don’t socialise, drink, smoke or go after women. I saw those things as weakness that could give out a tough man.
I Have 3 Children from 3 Women
“I have three children from three women. I ran away from my other wives because the police wanted to use them to arrest me.
“I also want to make it clear that I didn’t participate in all the robbery operations the police are accusing me of. People like me because I am not greedy, I make sure everybody gets their own share after a successful operation.
“Some of these boys also go out on their own to rob and when they are arrested they will tell the police that they are my boys.
“I can’t lie anymore, I have been arrested. All I want is for the police to give me a second chance. I will assist them arrest all the robbers in Lagos and South-West.”
Godogodo Coordinated Ogun, Kwara Robberies – Suspect
Meanwhile, Felix Sunday, a.k.a K Money who allegedly participated in two bank robberies in Kwara State and a bullion van robbery, in Ogun State, this year, has stated that Godogodo coordinated them.
K Money has been seized in March 2013, after a deadly robbery attack at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos. During this attack the members of K Money’s gang killed two policemen and carted away huge sums of money from bureau de change operators at the airport.
K Money told the newsmen that on January 2013, Godogodo and first assistiant, Odun Paul, coordinated them to rob in Oro town, Kwara State.
“We were 12 in number and we went for that operation with eight AK-47 rifles. We struck at the banks around 5 p.m. that day and we started shooting indiscriminately. People ran away for safety and a member of the gang who is a dynamite expert blew open the bank doors with dynamite.
“We went into FirstBank and carted away all the money in it and afterwards we struck at the opposite bank and did the same.
“Nobody was killed in that operation because we operated unchallenged, after which we drove to Ondo State where we shared our loot.
“I got N500,000 as my share and I was happy.
“Few weeks after that operation, Godogodo called us for a bullion van operation. We attacked the van along Ijebu-Ode Sagamu Road in Ogun State and opened fire on the van which was not armoured.
“We over-powered the policemen and took over the van containing both local and foreign currencies and we shared it.
“Godogodo was a source of inspiration to all of us and whenever we had him around in an operation, we don’t fear the police.
“He had the ability to confront the police and overpower them. We didn’t know he was going to be arrested this easily. He has boasted severally that he is going to kill a lot of policemen whenever they come for him and he did not care dying before his arrest. I don’t know how the police did it but Godogodo is tough.”

How Godogodo Headed N50 Million Robbery in Lagos Ajao Estate

How Godogodo Headed N50 Million Robbery in Lagos Ajao Estate
A deadly gang of robbers, headed by an infamous robbery tsar, Abiodun Ogunjobi, a.k.a, Godogodo, assaulted a warehouse belonging to Blessing Aporie Nigeria Limited at Ajao Estate area of Lagos State and snatched mobile phones worth more than N50 million on Sunday, July 14, 2013.
The robbers also killed a policeman on guard at the warehouse, leaving one other with severe bullet wounds.
Five members of that gang were later killed by operatives of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, SARS, during a shoot-out along Eko Bridge while three others escaped with bullet wounds.
However, operatives of SARS, led by Superintendent of Police, Abba Kyari, have arrested the three bandits who escaped during the shoot-out and they have confessed to the crime and narrated how Godogodo led them through the operation, which turned out to be his last in Lagos.
Sources at SARS said four teams of operatives were deployed that night to track down the robbers when news of the incident and the attack on policemen filtered in.
The Trail
The reporters have gathered that the team which was deployed to Surulere area, spotted a Honda space bus, matching the description of the one used by the robbers and they chased it up to the Eko Bridge where a gun battle ensued, leaving four persons dead while three escaped. One of the suspects identified as Ganiu Mental was arrested with bullet wounds.
A source, who spoke on the condition of anonymity said: “Mental told us that Godogodo led the operation and that they snatched two Range Rover Sports Utility Vehicles, SUVs, from the Island, where they also killed a policeman. He provided us with the information that led to the arrest of the three other bandits that escaped earlier.”
The source added that the police arrested the first suspect, Ahmed Adelawo, who sustained bullet injury on his leg, when they intercepted conversation between him and a native doctor, whom he paid N15,000 to prepare a charm that will prevent the police from arresting him.
“We arrested the native doctor and we used him to arrest Adelawo in Ikotun, where he was receiving treatment for his bullet wound.
“We then used Adelowo to arrest Leke Ayinde and Abiodun Yinusa,” the source said.
Meantime, the arrest of Yinusa didn’t come easy as he fled from Lagos State after the robbery incident.
The source said: “He ran to Akwa Ibom State when he learnt that we had arrested Adelawo, but he came back last Wednesday to attend to a case he had in court for stealing. Our operatives got information and stormed the court and arrested him on his way out.
The Ajao Estate Operation
“When the bandits were brought before Godogodo who was arrested penultimate Thursday in Egbeda area of Ibadan, after a massive manhunt by SARS operatives, they explained that they brought in Godogodo to help them dislodge the mobile policemen that were on guard at the warehouse where the robbery took place.
Yinusa, who is a resident of Ajao Estate, said: “I owned the job. I was the one who got Adelawo and others involved. I, Adelawo and Chuks have been operating within Ajao Estate because we are all residents of that area and we are familiar with the terrain.
“The warehouse is located at the spot where I usually go to smoke Indian hemp and I know they used to store expensive mobile phones.
“I have also assisted them in off loading one of their containers, an opportunity I seized to survey the place. Three months ago, I, Adelawo and Chuks went to rob at the warehouse and we stole phones worth only N200,000.
“We couldn’t get into the place where the expensive phones were stored. After that operation, the owner of the warehouse changed the doors, installed security camera and they also brought some armed mobile policemen to guard the place.
Godogodo’s Involvement
“My friend, Adelawo, got broke and he said he wanted us to attack the warehouse again. I told him that it would be difficult because there were policemen on guard, he said he knew people who could repel policemen and get what ever they wanted.
“I told him to contact them. One of them was Godogodo.
“On the night of that operation, Godogodo came to Ajao Estate in two Range Rover SUVs and he called us to lead them to the place. On arrival, they cut the key to the gate of the warehouse, Godogodo and his friends went into the security house, opened fire on a policeman on guard and collected his rifle, uniform and bullet proof shirt.
“Then they smashed the wall to the warehouse with a sledge hammer and gained entrance into the warehouse.  After about 30 minutes, they loaded the SUVs with mobile phones and other gadgets.
“But on our way out, some policemen who attempted to confront us were repelled by Godogodo’s superior fire power and we escaped.
5 Members Killed
“We drove down to a street in Oshodi where we shared our loot, but on our way to the Island, where we wanted to drop off Ganiu Mental, the policemen accosted us and killed five members of our gang. I managed to escape. I don’t know how Adelawo and Ayinde escaped.”
I Didn’t Know Mobile Phones Were Target – Godogodo
Reacting to the narrative, Godogodo told Vanguard that he wasn’t aware that their target in that operation was mobile phones warehouse.
“I am bigger than mobile phones, I can’t steal such anymore. These boys told me that there was N70 million in that warehouse; that was why I went with them.
“If I had known that what we were going to steal were just mobile phones, I wouldn’t have followed them. Yes, they told me that policemen were there so I was prepared. I carried over 300 rounds of live ammunition, so I could stand any attack.  I don’t know these boys even if I see them on the road.”

SHOCKING: "I Can’t Count How Many I Killed In Lagos Black Sunday Robbery" – Godogodo

Photo: Godogodo discloses facts about Lagos Black Sunday
Sunday, September 9, 2012, will remain indelible in the minds of some families in Lagos State, who lost their loved ones to the brazen attack of a gang of heavily armed robbers, with at least 3 policemen and several civilians killed and many others injured.
But the arrest of all the members of the gang that operated that day, including the notorious South-West robbery czar, Abiodun Ogunjobi, aka, Godogodo, would bring relief to relatives and friends of those killed or injured during the encounter.

Godogodo, arrested on August 1, 2013, now reveals all the chilling details in terms of how he coordinated this bloody operation.

"On that fateful day, I called one of my boys, Sayeed Omolopa, to meet me at Alfa Beach in Ajah, and some other boys led by Kasali and Ejike.

"They were about seven and my boys were five. Yemi Boss, who came with Ejike, said we should go to Agege and rob some bureau de change operators."
Godogodo narrates.

The men agreed that each robber would get what he laid his hands on. They had 2 vehicles and over nine AK-47 rifles.

"When we got to Agege, some bureau de change operators that saw us ran to us thinking we wanted to change money and we opened fire on them and ran into their shops to pack all the money we found.

“In fact, we robbed from shop to shop and we also shot sporadically to scare people. We shot at people who tried to block the road and prevent us from moving.
"I can’t count the number of people killed in that operation. Wherever people tried to block the road, we opened fire on them."
Godogodo confesses they made big money from that operation. However, when the robbers tried to escape, the police blocked them and the gang members opened fire on the van, killing all the policemen inside the vehicle.
It has been learned that Godogodo made over N500,000 on of the other gang members made over N6 million from the operation.

"Everybody made a lot of money from the operation. I didn’t border to read the newspapers the next day to know the extent of damage but I knew many people lost their lives in that operation.
"You know, as robbers, we do not go for operations to kill but we kill when we don’t have option."
Godogodo also narrated how he and members of his gang killed four policemen at Ajah, in February 2013, snatching three AK-47 rifles from them.
He said he killed the policemen because he wanted to recover his nine rifles seized by the SARS operatives from one of his boys, Tosin.
Godogodo also disclosed facts about several other killings. According to him,
"Ife and Oleh brought the job, they told me that we should go and rob a man who had just returned from London with huge sums of money and some drugs.

"We went to his house and discovered that he was not at home and we left in annoyance and went on to rob some people from house-to-house.

"On our way out, we spotted some policemen at Oko-Oba police station, they didn’t know that we were robbers. We killed them before collecting their rifles.
Thus, as a result of numerous operations by Godogodo and his gang members a lot of policemen and innocent people were killed.
